Financial Times

The Financial Times is a prominent British, international business daily that enjoys worldwide readership. Founded in 1888, it first began printing on its trademark salmon pink paper in 1893 as a marketing ploy to distinguish itself from its key competitor, Financial News. Today, it stands out for its integrity and accuracy of content.  A number of former FT journalists have gone on to hold positions of public prominence like Andrew Adonis, former education correspondent who later became advisor and then Education Minister in the Tony Blair government in 2005; and Sir Geoffrey Owen, former Editor FT, who became Director of Business Policy at the London School of Economics’ Centre for Economic Performance in 1991.

Financial Times will be lending its support for the INDIA Future of Change Essay Contest.
